Monome Lets You Compose Music On The Go


If you thought Yamaha’s Tenori-On was the ultimate in making digital music, well it has a competitor already. The Monome comes with backlit keypads which light up elegantly when you are playing notes. Music lovers and composers would find the gadget amazingly cool for it lets you know which note you are exactly hitting on.
You could connect the Monome through a USB and the gadget comes in three different versions of 256 buttons, 128 buttons, and 64 buttons. Each would cost $1,400, $800 and $450 depending on the number of buttons respectively.
The gadget is small and handy and could be carried wherever you want. In fact when you get the inspiration to compose music while shopping, you could do so! Music lovers will definitely love the Monome and it might set a new stage for gadgets that deal with composing new music.
